ROBOTICS SUMMER CAMP

    • From July 1st to July 13th (Final event and competition on Saturday 13th)

    • From July 15th to July 27th (Final event and competition on Saturday 27th)

    • From 9 AM to 2PM

    • From Monday to Friday

      After the two weeks of camp, we will hold a final event, where the students will use the robot they built, to compete in a robotics tournament. Families and friends are invited to join the event to celebrate all together.

      It will take place on Saturday, from 3PM to 6PM

  • During this camp kids will learn about robotics, coding and teamwork. It’s all about learning while having fun and making new friends.

    At the beginning of the camp we will introduce the robotics competition game, its rules and its objectives. The kids will be divided in teams and will be provided with a robotics kit. They will then be guided through the process of designing, building and programming their robot. To program it, they will use block coding or Python.

    At the end of the camp, the teams will use the robot they created to compete in a robotics tournament.

    No previous experience is required

    • 245 Euros (it includes two weeks of course, from Monday to Friday, 5 hours per day)

    • Family discount: 245 euros for the first student and just 100 euros for each additional sibling

Which type of activities will you do?

  • BUILD A CUBE LIFTER

    1. The students will design and build a small robot able to lift and move small plastic cubes

    2. They will then use their creation to compete against the other students in a game called “Up and Over”

  • PROGRAM A COLOR SENSOR

    The students will learn to code a robot that can identify and selectively move cubes of specific colors

  • LEARN ABOUT MECHANICAL FORCES BY PLAYING TAG-OF-WAR

    The students will learn about the center of mass, leverage, and mechanical advantage to build a robot capable of generating maximum force for winning a tug-of-war game

  • PROGRAM A DISTANCE SENSOR

    The students will learn to code a robot that can measure distances to objects, scan its surroundings for cubes in the game field, and then approach to knock them off

  • IMPROVE YOUR DRIVING SKILLS BY PLAYING BUMPER-BOTS

    Learn to use touch and light sensors with a remote controller to navigate your robot in a game of bumper bots
